It's a strategy game. There's faction planning and dragons bringing chaos upon the land, but it's not as good as it sounds. The thing is, Larian had Dragon Commander and Original Sin being developed at the same time. DC was going to be the big project and OS the smaller one, whose profits would feed DC. But it turned out to be the other way around and now DC feels half assed and incomplete because of it.

Not super old but Kings Bounty: The Legend (2008)? one of the wives is a zombie, she can be unzombified but sometimes she changes back to a Zombie.
