In the game the player will choose one of several female characters as his wife, one of the women is a skeleton, later will change back to living human form. The game is probably before 2010.

For the record, Dragon Commander came out in 2013. When we're talking about old cRPGs here, we're usually talking about 90s and 80s cRPGs.

Let us know if this is the game you were looking for or if you were looking for something else.

I'm honestly not familiar with the game.
It's a strategy game. There's faction planning and dragons bringing chaos upon the land, but it's not as good as it sounds. The thing is, Larian had Dragon Commander and Original Sin being developed at the same time. DC was going to be the big project and OS the smaller one, whose profits would feed DC. But it turned out to be the other way around and now DC feels half assed and incomplete because of it.

exactly
And IcewindDale is a modern game by this standard. And always will be, with cutting edge innovation like isometric view and real time with pause.
..
When someone say a game is 10 years old, i automatically assume it must be something made in 95 like Jazz Jackrabbit or Destruction Derby.
