Even if so, that's no excuse for silly armors.
The sexier the woman, the better, therefore any armor on a female character that is NOT sexy is pure decline. Any counter-argument you may have to this is invalid, and if you disagree, you are a faggot.

I should be able to wear as many rings as I have fingers.
One ring per hand has been a limitation since original Dungeons & Dragons:

RINGS: A ring must be worn to be employed, and only one ring may be worn on each hand if the ring is to be operable by the wearer. (The referee should be careful to enforce this in order to maintain some balance in the game.) Rings are usable by any type of character. Those rings which are not specifically noted below function as would a like spell or potion but on an unlimited basis regarding duration.

Gold currency becoming irrelevant about a third of the way into most games. Carry weight systems not providing meaningful decision making. Same with durability costs. Icons on the maps pre-made or pre-discovered. The name of the area flashing on my screen before I logically could know what it is. Any >1k stat numbers. So many things.

A skill or a weapon being objectively useless.

Stupid weapons - overdone fantasy weapons that would never work
God I hate giant anime cleavers or overly artistic ones. If every weapon is flashy then what's the point of flashiness? The quality and beauty should be in detail not something like these. Not to mention some of them are just ugly and childishly retarded.

Avarage quality sword should look like this instead, maybe with a bit more engraving.

D&D type games with a group size smaller than 5.
Only one thief etc. party member to choose from in the entire game.
That most D&D type games require a lot of prebuffing, but don't let you create scripts to cast them quickly out of combat.
That you never have an oxcart + driver or something similar for the loot. Some hearty 4cp/day peasant with Cowlick and Nettie. Or hirelings in general. And caravans and non-combat traveling companions. Do it right, and they could be important NPCs and have interesting sidequests too. They would also make the world feel more lived in.

Being able to pick up only small parts of giant treasures, 4 times in a row. More generally, random limits in picking up items of the same/similar type.

Sorry about the quality, only the thumbnail survived link rot. From Guild Wars:

You'd be lucky to find a random chest with vendor trash in that room.

That's a picture of a hidden stash in Vabbi. The first time you go there you get several thousand gold and a rare item. Along with all the others strewn throughout the campaign, you'll net about 20-30k the first time if you do them all in one go. They refresh once a month (no timer, make a private note.) and will continue to produce bountiful gold and rares the first few times with diminishing returns thereafter. Still an excellent way to pad your coffers as a new player or to start outfitting heroes. For an MMO, this is very generous. No investment required other than the time it takes to walk to them.

Strap Yourselves In Codex Year of the Donut Codex+ Now Streaming! Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is.
OCD NightMare (Aka The Kreuzberg ) - Large Area (Normally home base) where dialogues and quests are updated seemingly at random intervals and for no particular reason throughout the game, are possible to miss.

This leads to completing a mission, running around the entire large area talking to everyone again, 90% who say the same thing. Rinse and repeat for every mission.

I`m okay with a random quest being in some town you have to backtrack to, or small areas. But when you have a large area that you are expected to loop through, it becomes a chore.
Seen in shadowrun Dragonfall, Mass Effect (To a smaller extent), Deadstate and a variety of others.

Story heavy games with a specific villain but with some random character you make that does nothing to fulfill the premise of the story.
If they want to have a specific story, I prefer a specific character with a more specific role.
If they want you to make whatever character with a bunch of random party members, make it story light or looser.
Fallout games are an example of where it's story light (relative to some other RPGs) and you end up with some different endings because your character can be different.
Almost all stories in games are terrible and pointless so I think the casuals don't really care all that much but I just need to tune it out.
+ Dull as fuck predefined protags(KCD Henry). Either make him interesting/give some edges or gimme a custom protag.
+ Having predefined protags for no reason at all(Elex whatshisface) ...unless budgetary reasons.
+ Having custom protags who talks with other characters without player input(Cyberpunk V)

Controlling other characters in dialogue(DOS1-2 & BG3(?) companions, Witcher 3 Ciri, Cyberpunk Silverhand)
Dialogue choices just for the sake of there being choices(PoE, past lives flashbacks)
Tacked on survival modes/mechanics that only tracks PC's needs, ignoring everyone else's.
Unnecessary customization options that could be utilized in narrative better if pre-defined(Deadfire ship name; multiple types of ship instead of 1 with more upgrades & customization with an iconic name)
Lacking a handy Confirm key on left side of the keyboard, alternative to Enter key.

Long rigid prologues.
Companon dialogues that's 90% exaustable from the get go.
All optional content being available at all times(optional content availability should be tied to main story acts/milestones for the sake of good pacing IMO)
...

For me, I can't STAND it when an RPG based on a medieval model includes any kind of modern language and/or phrases in it as part of its actual PC or NPC dialog.

"Oh, I think that's so cool, Sir Bingleswort. You totally owned that dragon," would be a blatant and supernova-inducing example.

"Word."
I once insta-uninstalled an Icewind Dale mod for that very reason.

Games that have low level enemies that look like giant dangerous monsters and high level enemies that look like small creatures that look harmless compared to low level ones.
Not an rpg, but will never forget the baby-things the size of- well, a baby in Dying Light that were worth any 2 Controllers from Stalker. Those suckers were mean.

As for rpgs, the unkillable low-level creatures (ie goblins) that you'd lure to a group a bandits, and 1 tiny goblin would engage 10 bandits and neither side would take/give damage because the game says that you & ONLY you can kill it. I'm looking at you, you piece of shit, Gothic 3.

I remember a Hall-of-Fame three-part NWN module where the hero at the end is about to crush, kill and/or destroy the game's big baddie and says something like, "I'm gonna fuck you up!" Luckily, it was the end of the module/trilogy so it was too late to say "Fuck this" and rage quit. Besides, my druid's acid drakenshape killed him in 3 huffs and I was too busy enjoying that to feel too bitter about it.

Ran into some old friends while playing Neverwinter Nights 2 yesterday and it reminded me of another game made by devs equally deficient at recognizing the trappings of modernity. Sure hope Shandra's John Deere wasn't in the barn when the Lizardmen burnt it down.

The usual rpg chores. You're on an important quest to stop evil and istead of doing it you're running back and forth between the same two points over and over again tying people's shoelaces until you have a brainrot for the sake of extra XP and money. I would take a linear game over this.

Then the game expects you to fill your inventory up with mass amount of shit for the sake of crafting or because you're unsure about what can be dropped. I prefer to keep my inventory tidy.
