Nah, this game is too much about random ass slime rushes in neutral. Mena and punk lost to bird because he knew the risk/reward. You cannot check it every single time. And if you get hit by it, you can lose the game…or if you block it they put you in a shimmy. And that’s not even counting how it’s impossible to differentiate between rush and impact. This game is ass and I’m glad I didn’t buy it.

I mean, idk why Menad was hopping around so much playing Blanka vs someone playing the most famous dragon punch in fighting games. The Ken v Luke rounds were visceral, especially the bracket reset.

Mena probably had a coach instructing him to switch to Luke for better drive rush/reversal
Hmmm... I only watched the Accent core tourney yesterday. Was pretty good. Elvenshadow won and beat two Japanese players, which was surprising.
Faust has always been high/top in ggxx

Yeah I know, whats your point? RF plays Faust aswell.
its not surprising unless he took out that one testament player

Elvenshadow's neutral is makes it really hard to do anything. Between faust having the ability to hit almost anywhere on the screen and the shenanigans you can get up with his hurtbox it makes it extremely difficult to actually get in on him.

There's players in the (NA) community I think can beat him, but unfortunately playing for an audience of 14 people so you can win a $10 burger king gift card hasn't been able to pull in everyone.

How many fighters do you guys play online? I do Injustice 2, Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance/Deception/Armageddon and 10, and all three Dissidias. Always down for a match.

I'm actually a fan. Sure it looks like KOFXV but there's also a subtle MVC3-esque aesthetic to it the graphics that I really dig. And frankly KOFXV was probably my favorite fighting game to come out anytime recently. I'm looking forward to this one.

Speaking of KOF the latest patch notes had a lot of bullet points about fixing matchmaking (finally)? Has anyone tried it? The broken matchmaking was never a problem for me personally, I've always found matches with a variety of people within a few minutes of queuing up, but I know many others have not been so lucky. I'd love to go a few rounds if anyone's still playing it, although I'm very very out of practice.

But it doesn’t even look like KoF 15. If it’s not a totally different model of Terry, basically every aspect of it has been changed to be different.

The hair and face are totally different. The seams and the patch on the jacket are different. The white t-shirts been changed. You can’t see it in that picture, but his belt buckle isn’t the same one from the KoF model.

I’m really liking the look of that new Fatal Fury game. The colors are much nicer than the King of Fighters 3D games, and the crosshatching shadow effect looks really nice.

This game is considered to be in the “trinity” of the Neo Geo games with samsho 4 and KoF 98. Neo geo fans and fighting games purists know that for years... this one has a particular wonderful artistic style and ambiance (Bakumatsu era for history fans is dope)

No one ever gave a shit about Last Blade when these games were relevant. It's pretty but didn't get any traction at all in the competitive scene.

Also Zantetsu is bullshit. And Constantly Wrong Godzilla is actually right in this instance, SamSho 2 is widely considered the best SamSho and was played the most by far, at least in arcades.
