"This message is awaiting moderator approval": All new users must pass through our moderation queue before they will be able to post normally. Until your account has "passed" your posts will only be visible to yourself (and moderators) until they are approved. Give us a week to get around to approving / deleting / ignoring your mundane opinion on crap before hassling us about it. Once you have passed the moderation period (think of it as a test), you will be able to post normally, just like all the other retards.

Let us browse new or updated threads by subforum

You click the green box and you get the new posts in that subforum. The current RPGCodex layout should allow the same user flow with minimal changes.

You mean like by just visiting the subforum and seeing the list of topics?
If I just visit the subforum, I will see a list of all of the topics instead of just seeing the ones that are unread.

It is definitely not a big thing, but I thought this might be something that would be quite trivial to implement. Of course, I do not know the backend of this site so I don't know how easy it is to fetch unread topics on a subforum basis.

What are "new" posts? And what's the problem with seeing "new" posts in XF?

With new posts I mean unread. I just want to easily see all the unread topics in a single subforum.

Every thread with replies unread by you will have its title bolded AND that yellow icon in front of it. I mean, easy enough as it is?

That's Simple Machines Forum, same as Vince's Iron Tower Studios forum is running.

It is not a big thing, but I would prefer seeing only the threads that are unread. Just a suggestion which you can put into a backlog somewhere.

It is and a very outdated version. Doesn't even have SSL support. SFM has a new version out but the staff hasn't updated the forum.

RPGCodex has currently around 500 members online meanwhile this other site has around 2000 so I guess this feature is more useful there.
