Spigot will be spared from working in the mines and resume working in the still UNLESS Kalin conscripts him in the military. No dwarf can overrule the Kommander's conscription.

The Kommander's edict of conscription is inviolable, the Kommander's position however, is not.

Spigot's punishment was veto'd by myself in order to provide the Kommunity with plenty of high quality BOOZE. Naturally, if he were to be conscripted by the Kommander, then not only the Kommander himself, but the rest of the dwarven Kommunity too, would be bereft of said plenty of high quality BOOZE.

As is self-evident, were the Kommander to issue such an edict and deprive himself and us all of our precious lifeblood, he could only but be considered clinically insane, and in addition, a traitor. As such, he would be stripped of his position and forced into exile where he may be free to end his days in his febrile madness and as a teetotaller to boot.

Spigot would remain as second in-chief to the newly elected Kommander, whomever that dwarf may be, as said traitorous ex-Kommander, inviolably wished.

After his troglo encounter? He wasn't injured. Not physically at least. He's doing fine.

Mentally - not so much. Kalin's mind is slowly slipping away. But he's doing his best to hide it and drink away all the bad thoughts.

Brother Frank is somewhat better at Discipline and Fighting. Which means she would land a hit on Merc more often that he will hit her. He is also more likely to suffer a morale failure (give up) during a theoretical duel with BF.

If we're talking real battle against actual enemies, those couple skill points in Discipline and Fighting can make a dramatic difference. Higher skill levels take much longer to train in DF. Mother Brother Frank simply has a natural aptitude for this.
