any tips for the fightan classes?
any tips for the fightan classes?
So the game installer file on the Pierre's site is named '(KotC2_FullVersion_1_28)'. The latest update was to version 1.23 AFAIK.
Is it perhaps the tomorrow's release version? Let's find out.
Feat selection is important. Wade In seems to be one of the most valuable (move and still make full attack) but I also like the ones that gave increased saving throws for condition effects like stunned and paralysis. And there are feats that increase the death threshold while granting extra max hit points at the same time.any tips for the fightan classes?
The Bard was extremely useful early on but her usefulness dropped off in the late game

Felt the same with a rogue. That said rogue gets some super useful dialogue options that let you get surprise rounds or insta kill enemies.

Yeah but in the late game raw combat effectiveness is more important. The only thing my bard was useful for in chapter 4 was healing and casting silence. Admittedly, silence is pretty good... but my psionicist and wizard both had even more useful AoE spells to blast enemy mages with, and if you have a silence effect on an area you can't have a more useful area effect on the same tiles.
I regret cheaping out on kickstarter and not getting the steam key (and that pdf guide). It's weird how valuable this platform feels. I don't even care for achievements.I will wait until tomorrow so I can nab those Steam achievements.
You can do that in the version downloadable from his site.Maybe this is old news, but Pierre has confirmed on Steam that the final release will allow switching between tokens and isometric sprites in-game.
"The final release has both graphic styles. You can switch by pressing Alt + T."

You just do more attacks when you grapple. I don't remember if Flurry of Blows also combos with Rake too.1. What does Mantis "rake when grappling" mean?
Both. You can roll or actually use the point buy system like a normal human being. See:2. How do you roll ability scores / attributes? It seems to be fixed and then classic rolling can you decide that?
In regards to your party. You can have up to 6 people then an additional 3, or 4 depending on your choices, one of them is a Warlock. Another is a Sorcerer. The other one is a Paladin. Final one is a mystery! Warlock is both a Wizard and Psionics User. Sorcerer is both Cleric and Wizard. Since companions now actually are same level as party when you get them. Try to plan around those. Though don't neglect having a spellcaster or cleric in party. You'll need those for surviving early game.
I'm trying to figuring out my first party setup haven't played the first game (yet).
human champion/paladin
half-giant gladiator
mantis monk
Then either of these groups:
halfing cleric
kobold psionicist
elf wizard
or
human psychic healer
halfing Sorcerer
elf warlock
Druid is another big one too. Its summons in some fights are invaluable. Especially in those instances where Pierre forces you to split your party up. Large Water Elemental and its sister versions helped me a bunch in lower sewers. Reason being because it gets high bonuses towards grapple which is fantastic for impending enemy movement or shutting down spellcasters from using their spells - though this doesn't work against all spellcasters, I think psionicists can still use their stuff in spite of being grappled.

I think Pierre has studied so much economics he thinks anything with a price has no real value.can he at least add price or something?
