Good preview, aside from the idiotic tangent about the based save system.

Shill-Up's review of Veilguard was great, so I am looking forward to the final review of KCD2

Yea that was a massive WTF. He even said everytime he needs to save he HAS to quit and restart the game and that sucks and he doesn't like it. I mean whatever SchillUp is he isn't dumb but hearing this my chin literally dropped to the floor.

I remember reading that master strikes are out, which is good, and they've removed the bottom left and bottom right part of the aiming reticule. Apparently "less spammy" and combos are actually useful now. All hearsay though, I haven't played it.

It's all about the combos.

Master strikes are still in the game, but they are now restricted to swords, so filthy peasants and scrappy bandits won't master strike you with clubs or axes. And the way they work (for swords) has also been changed for the better.

My ideal system for KCD to marry both inherent player based input as an action rpg, and a stat based input as a true RPG, is to take in account the appropriate block/combo execution weighted in to the roll, and the player stats[agility, strength, dexterity] weighted in to the roll, combine it and compare against enemy roll which would be based on enemy tier[the higher the tier the more proper combo/block] and the higher the stats or different stat combinations - ie. an agile warrior would be countered by another agile warrior, and only by strength based warrior if he do a mistake.

Makes sense. Hopefully this will kill two birds with one stone, as it marks out anybody who owns a sword as a proper warrior not to be trifled with. A group of peasants in a random encounter going Geralt of Rivia on my ass is an issue, but it was also jarring to see them wielding swords in the first place. Everyday tools used as makeshift weapons would be more appropriate for them, rather than weapons of war strictly designed to cause grievous bodily harm to another human being.

Might sound a bit nitpicky considering in any other game I wouldn't question this, but Kingdom Come's dedicated to authenticity sets a high bar.

Is it allowed to discuss the game in this thread or will any discussion be split to another thread?
Only if you unequivocally praise the game like it deserves. As all game do.

This game is amazing, I love the new jogging scholar and his lovemaking scene with Theresa! The Brokeback Mountain easter egg was also VERY COOL! Thank you, based Vavra!

The game isn't out yet, there's nothing to talk about
This is the exact counterpoint to the normally raised argument:
