Context is that someone was comparing Alan Wake 2 script length to KCD2:

6 hours of cutscenes for KCD2 seems miniscule in comparison to Codex GotY 2015 The Witcher 3 with its estimated 15 hours of cutscenes.Said as a positive thing. Good lord.6h of cutscenes?! Crikey.

Yea that was a massive WTF. He even said everytime he needs to save he HAS to quit and restart the game and that sucks and he doesn't like it. I mean whatever SchillUp is he isn't dumb but hearing this my chin literally dropped to the floor.Good preview, aside from the idiotic tangent about the based save system.
Probably more of the same in a different location, which drama aside means it'll be pretty good. But what’s the game like?
Is the combat better this time? Main reason I skipped the first one.Probably more of the same in a different location, which drama aside means it'll be pretty good. But what’s the game like?
It's all about the combos.I remember reading that master strikes are out, which is good, and they've removed the bottom left and bottom right part of the aiming reticule. Apparently "less spammy" and combos are actually useful now. All hearsay though, I haven't played it.

Makes sense. Hopefully this will kill two birds with one stone, as it marks out anybody who owns a sword as a proper warrior not to be trifled with. A group of peasants in a random encounter going Geralt of Rivia on my ass is an issue, but it was also jarring to see them wielding swords in the first place. Everyday tools used as makeshift weapons would be more appropriate for them, rather than weapons of war strictly designed to cause grievous bodily harm to another human being.I remember reading that master strikes are out, which is good, and they've removed the bottom left and bottom right part of the aiming reticule. Master strikes are still in the game, but they are now restricted to swords, so filthy peasants and scrappy bandits won't master strike you with clubs or axes. And the way they work (for swords) has also been changed for the better.
InfinitronIs it allowed to discuss the game in this thread or will any discussion be split to another thread?
What would be the purpose of this thread if you couldnt discuss the game int it?Is it allowed to discuss the game in this thread or will any discussion be split to another thread?
Only if you unequivocally praise the game like it deserves. As all game do.Is it allowed to discuss the game in this thread or will any discussion be split to another thread?
Maybe on February 4th?Is it allowed to discuss the game in this thread or will any discussion be split to another thread?
This is the exact counterpoint to the normally raised argument:The game isn't out yet, there's nothing to talk about
