Came across this thing just today, not really my cuppa, but maybe some of you will like it.

From the way the interface and overall doing of things is organized, it looks like one of those dwarf fortress/rimwold wannabes, the twist this time round is that you'll be building an airfield
(you start with a generous supply of tarp, from what I've understood you'll be harvesting the necessary wood and stuff like mushrooms from the nearby surroundings).
A bit too contrived perhaps, but if one's willing to turn a blind eye to that, it promises a lot - build runways to get a variety of aircraft, which will be used to fly missions, which will draw attention to your airfield and get you attacked.

There's an early alpha demo available. From playing it, graphics somehow reminded me of a tintin comic, which I didn't see coming on the screenies.
