According to the comments there, you said you were going to finish it back in 2011. Seems like par for the course.

Do you simply not feel shame anymore? I'm genuinely interested to hear your thoughts on this, because I am constantly worried about not being able to deliver on something I have committed myself to or going back on my word. What does it feel like to be a chronic failure to the point where you can say whatever you want and never feel responsible for it?

May I suggest he goes into illustration or 3D Modelling.
He doesn't seem to have talent for coding, or he'll have to work twice as hard, at finishing.

James might become a famous con-cept artist...

Everyone, shit just got real for Jason Appleton. The link below is a report on his newly annouced T.V. show broadcast thru CBS. Reaching 47 million potential, 1st planned to air in New York to 7 million.

This is kinda scary to have such a documented Con man to represent Bitcoin as a public face in a "mainstream stage". Building Respect, Trust, Rapport with the newly introduced. Sounds like BitConnect all over again.

It will be ready when it's ready. Game Development isn't a Priority for me these days. I have much more important family issues to deal with then dealing with the demands of people who's only goal is to see me fail. But yeah once it's ready and uploaded I'll let you know.

Family always has and always WILL come first for me and right now I've been babysitting and spending time with the cousins. I've barely had any down time the last few weeks.

Ok so I'm James Proctor... The Person accused of being a Fag and scam artist in this thread. I am going to be brief and to the point and then I'm gone. I'm not going to argue with you guys or anything. I have to much work to do. I'd rather let the game speak for it's self as we roll out our releases.

First of all Yes we made mistakes... Yes we are way over due on getting GM released. YES our KickStarter backers have every right to be concerned and upset and voice their concerns. We listen, we take note, and we work to improve things. However at what point does voicing the concerns get to the point that it's just immature bashing... AND what does it matter to people like the OP who has nothing invested in GM. What is it that they have against us that they start throwing around accusations based on false accusations that others have started?

The Original Accusations posted here... That GM was a scam because we used Unity3D and Store bought Assets from Unity's Asset Store, So taking that further I guess ANY Game built with Unity3D (Just a Game Engine like the Unreal Engine or any other Commercial Game Engine) is nothing more then a Scam until the Game Releases... I guess SoTA, a Game built by Lord British himself, is nothing but a Scam... I've seen a bunch of assets we bought being used in SoTA AND it also uses the Unity3D Game Engine. I guess it doesn't matter how much custom coding you do for the game JUST the fact that it's built with a Specific Game Engine makes it a Scam. I guess it doesn't matter how much world building, or how many completely custom 3d Models, Or how many custom textures you create, I guess none of that matters. Just the fact that we used a $1,000+ Commercial Game Engine instead of building our own Game Engine makes us a Scam.

As for my Past, Yes I have a past with Game Development. I learned how to Program using C#, C++, Java, Python, and a bunch of Web Based Languages... I did ALL of this so that I could Develop fun games that I could play with thousands of others. I have Projects I started and Scrapped as I learned... I have Entire Game Engines I custom Coded... I have Frameworks that I custom coded. Most of my Actual Games failed as a result of not having the money to develop them further... Not having money to hire 3D Modelers to create assets, Not having the money to rent Servers, not having the money needed for anything that would have taking the games to the next level. None of that makes me a Scam Artist. It's been reported that I have been scamming people since at least 2008. How is it a scam if I haven't taking any money or anything else from people? You can say what you want about GM... If you want to believe that GM is a Scam fine go ahead. However saying that I was scamming people Before GM is a total and complete Lie based on baseless claims.

As for the other claims made in this very thread about my sexuality... I'm a Video Game Developer/Designer... NOT a Porn Star. My Sexuality and Sexual Preference has completely nothing to do with anything being talked about. Also what I post on my personal Youtube account is my Business has nothing to do with GM or My work with GM... If I want to post my political Views or Let's plays on my personal youtube page then you better believe I will. If you have a problem with that then tough.

Now I am going to get back to work and let the game speak for it's self. I really hope you guys have a great day and thankyou for your feedback. Even the nastiest, cruelest, most insensitive feedback can still help us out... Even if for nothing more then a good laugh.

only goal is to see me fail.

James...
We are not in the business of seeing you fail.

Who wants to see badly broken games, bugs not fixed since months and years?

James, this is your reputation.

The issue is fixing SIMPLE bugs and SIMPLE issues with SIMPLE games you uploaded.
We're not asking you to spend hours and hours doing server-side MMO architecture, script AI for RPG, or coding game-novels for others.

James, the purpose isn't to berate you nor to see you fail. It is YOU taking commitment towards the work you do.
What does that tell others?

James is not interested to learn C#, a wannabe rookie developer who cannot fix bugs nor solve basic problems.
It is dishonest to state you learned to program C#, C++, Java, Python and others,
when you do not maintain your own website (MMOInteractive), full of spam. What game engine did you code when you make so bad examples?
What custom-frameworks have you done worthy of merit?

Jame's games failed because you do not have the competency to develop them well. You could have easily, VERY easily have fixed the bugs in your games.

Don't ever say that James cannot find any job and most of the developers I know of, would put food on their table by having great portfolio of playable, working games they can proudly put on their website.

What website are you exactly talking about that is full of spam? lol There is no website for MMO Interactive. The website we did have when Joel and I were going to register MMOI is no longer around. The only website for Game Development that I operate is the website for Rise of Heroes which yes I haven't updated in a while since I am not working on Game Development much these days.

So back to the topic...

am not working on Game Development much these days.

Fair enough. Let us know when your clicker games and space-invader are updated. I'm expecting Q4 2018 or maybe Q1 2020... or maybe 2025 or 2030 or maybe... it's time to move on...

Give me a few days.

Mother fucker... days? You had years, like, a whole fuck ton of them, and you couldn't even a basic ass space invaders rip-off.

Every time I stumble on my bookmarks only to end up in this fucking place, I see you announcing some kind of new ridiculous ass project only to be explained by a bunch of people just how fucked up on the mind you are.

Sorry but I haven't announced any NEW projects in the last 6+ months. I believe my last new project was Game Dev. clicker and Yuletide Clicker up on Kongregate. Yes I announced a new build that I was working on for Game Dev. Clicker because I was asked to fix some of the bugs but that isn't a new Project. Since then I am in the middle of some Major life changes and haven't touched Unity in the last month or so. And before that I had barely touched Unity all winter. I'm in the process of moving and getting my life settled again, I am dealing with some major illnesses in the family, and I have started babysitting even more then I use to since moving up here. There is no time for Game Development at least through the summer and beyond that we will have to see what happens. I have between 3 and 4 kids I babysit almost daily with a 5th on the way and with School getting out next week they will be taking all my time.

It’s pretty impressive how you always have a sob story ready to go when confronted with something, save them for those who care.

Just develop a fucking game already or stop going around announcing shit all over the internet, people might actually confuse you with some sort of game developer and hire you for another scam ass project again.

I just wanted to let you guys know that Rise of Heroes: Online or at least a Prototype for RoH is currently in development. I'm planning on releasing a Preview Build to select groups of people this coming Friday and if all goes well there I'll be releasing a Publicly available Preview Build to the general public the following Friday followed by updates happening every Friday going forward. This Iteration of RoH is still very much in the planning stages still and what it will turn into is extremely fluid at the moment.

The Preview builds will have player hosted Servers with me taking over the servers further down the line.

So far I have:
- Quests
- Crafting
- Resource Gathering
- Pets
- Multiple types of Mobs
- Guilds
- A Mail System
- Trading/Shops
- Skills both active and passive
- and more.

I know I have had many failed attempts at different games but here I am giving it one last attempt and if I succeed then awesome... I hope you guys will come along with me on the Journey if for no other reason then to get a good laugh out of my potential failure. This Thursday I will be posting a Video of the preview build which will be released on Friday and I'll be sure to post a link here to the video. For the very latest you can join the facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/riseofheroesmmo/

So far I have:
- Quests
- Crafting
- Resource Gathering
- Pets
- Multiple types of Mobs
- Guilds
- A Mail System
- Trading/Shops
- Skills both active and passive
- and more.

Sounds great! Let's see...

Quests: Create different types of Quests for your players which you then add to any NPC you want to give the quest out. Create a chain of quests that can guide your players through your storyline.

- Crafting
Crafting System: Design Your crafting recipes up to 16 ingredients. You can also setup crafting skill required for specific recipe along with crafting table. There is also an option to define different chance for a different result like 100% chances for a common sword, 50% chances for a magic sword, 5% chances for a rare sword, and 0,1% chances for a legendary sword.

- Resource Gathering
Resource Nodes System: Define gatherable resources like a pile of rocks, plants, trees, fishing ponds and define rewards for gathering them.

Pets Module: Allows you to not only define non-combat pets which will bring a visual element to your game but also combat pets with an attitude like aggressive, defensive with pet management panel in place to handle commands like attack or follow the master.

- Multiple types of Mobs
Mobs/NPCs: Create any mob template from a click of a button with stats and loot you want them to drop, then spawn these mobs in-game where ever you want in real time. You can even spawn a dragon right in front of other players while they are standing next to you in game.

Guilds: Create a guild, define roles with permissions, manage members list (roster), assign them roles, promote/demote, handle the message of the day, check members progress by their levels or their status online/offline.

- A Mail System
Mailing System: Allows you to send messages directly in your game. you can attach items or currency as well.

- Trading/Shops
Merchant Tables: Define your NPC merchants their stock and refresh time.

- Skills both active and passive
Skills: A fully featured skill system which allows you to open up skills when players level up with XP or level up their skill by using it like the old UO style gameplay. The choice is yours.

Oh

I hope you guys will come along with me on the Journey if for no other reason then to get a good laugh out of my potential failure
Don't worry, we will :D

I am using a Unity Asset... Don't get me wrong. But I promise you it's not Atavism. If it was Atavism Players wouldn't be able to host their own servers.

I'll try to. What I'll be releasing on Friday is really going to be dependent on what I'm able to get done over the week. I've got a list of things I want to get done but will just have to see how it all goes.

Well I reserve the right to just sit here and be a Penguin.

I'm all about having goals and ambition (not the type of ambition that got Caesar shanked) but like I told Jim yesterday- Having a dream and setting a goal to climb Mt. Everest is commendable. With enough hard work ,dedication and practice on much smaller climbs , you may eventually get there- Flying to Tibet and hiring some shurpas without having the proper training and experience is a certain way to fail.

I'm all about "go big or go home" but within reasons and limitations of logic and reality.

Jim is going to create an MMORPG and thats all there is to it- No amount of trying to reason out the issue is going to make a single iota of difference. Trust me.

So here it is, sink or swim and hes humbly coming forward to do this openly.

And I'm just a Penguin making my way in the big, scary World.

Considering that you don’t even know what “massive” means, it’s not really surprising that you consider me a “stalker”. No dude, don’t flatter yourself, it’s called notifications, every time someone comes mentioning one of your new shitty projects in this thread, I get a fucking email filled with free giggles… that’s about it.

How about you? Don’t you have anything else to do than pretending to be a game developer by smashing others peoples work together?

Well I reserve the right to just sit here and be a Penguin.
