So I recently decided it's time to stop playing WoW: Classic era. I'm kinda disappointed by endgame being so dominated by GDKP shit and goldbuyers and the whole thing being completely normalized by the community, people are not even ashamed of doing it. If anything I have to defend myself for not tolerating it, which is really funny because it's even against the TOS. Real money transactions in videogames really opened the door for the worst fuckin cheaters and losers in online gaming. This and the simping for some 2/10 fat jew pig I made moderater in my guild to fix our discord server destroyed the guild I build up for month with love. But yeah, this is all another topic.

It's time to leave the sinking ship. What online MMROPG's are out there that are worth playing? What's their pro's and con's? Give me your tips and recommendations. Please without realmoney jewery.

Thanks

All of them are grindy as fuck and a waste of time really. I would not recommend for sanity sake.

As long as it's not much grindy than classic WoW that's not a huge problem for me. I enjoy the journey if it's quality content

If you think classic WoW is grindy you have not played many MMOs. Modern WoW is much more grindy because you have so much shit to grind for. Classic was relatively simple by comparison. Leveling doesn't take too long either if you know what you're doing. Does classic WoW have achievements? They were originally added with WotLK and started to make the game a real grind.

Well I also played Black Desert at release and liked it. If it wasn't so action oriented and had Dungeons/Raids you have to teamplay in I would like that and endorse the grind in it

If you still like to play wow checkout warmane private server. It has a higher xp rate server and you can donate for gear there. And a standard rate server where you can't donate for gear. I think most guilds don't use GDKP but I haven't raided in a guild there.

Wow is still the best, your other alternative is to play FFXIV but you have to be a pedophile furry to enjoy that game.

Well I'm through pretty much all endgame and I see not much intersting to discover in it anymore. Might rather play some Black Desert if there's really no recommadations for anything here. I checked out Mortal Online 2 videos briefly and it sadly looked like its missing everything a MMORPG could make fun

They're all dogshit pretty much. There's a revived Ultima Online server, I heard. Other than that last okay-ish MMO experience I had was Ashes of Phoenix on Fallout Online about three months ago, but the season ended, and in a very controversial way too.

If you'd like a combat focused MMO that allows you to toy around with various characters and builds and see how they interact with the others, then City of Heroes is a solid choice. The character building system is pretty robust and can entertain you for a long while if you are into this sort of thing. In a sense of character building it feels like Underrail online to me.

It went offline in 2012 and is run exclusively on private servers now, so you don't have to pay anything, just create an account, hop in and play.

Thanks for the tip. I would probably start playing that shit right away if I had daytime job.

Yeah somebody know a good UO freeshard give some info

I read Ashes of Creation is supposed to go in "Alpha 2" in Q2 2024. So any minute now  New videomaterial I have seen looks even more promising like the old. They hit a sweetspot with the art and combat

Everything else I found so far looked like pure shit. All the games have this Black Desert like action combat that doesn't really lend itself good for any bigger scaled fights or even to make any tactical decsions in a group. It just feels like arcade button mashing. Or they are published by Amazon and have pay to win written all over themselfs, which I will stay away from on default.

And it looks like the Riot MMORPG has been shoved?

You took a woman into the guild? You play in dirt, you get dirty.

Yeah we had several but this whore still makes my blood boil. Untalented, griefing piece of borderline personaliity that destroys everything good she touches. Manipulative lying piece of human trash

I mean come on. This looks really promissing. The dragon flight and the battle that ensues right after? (linked the relevant part)
