American made 8-bit retro 90s anime JRPG.

Has anyone ever heard of this? I stumbled upon it with while searching the party based rpg tags on steam.
Reviews mostly say that it is charming, complaints are only that it is tough as nails, which is a plus for me. Only 12 reviews, single negative review is in Chinese and google translator completely mangles it.

I think I am gonna try it for the price of half a Doner at 1,60€ and see if is worth it for the gorgeaus grayscale artstyle alone.
Only red flag is the LGBTQ+ tag which is usually on absolute garbage, it seems to be here because of Yuri tho.

Okay my curiosity got the better of me and I tried it myself. It is missing one vital feature that completely breaks the game for me. There is no fucking armor stat. Gear gives you +flat max hp. I dont know who came up with this absolute heresy but it shatters the illusion of this being a cute Gameboy JRPG completely. Apart from that it ticks all boxes but I cant play a JRPG where stronger armor doesnt reduce the damage I take. Abandon all hope for this title, I am currently undecided wether it is even worth it to issue a refund ticket for less than 2 dollars.

Oooookay, let's go full autistic: what does "hp" stand for? If it's "health points" then it is stupid that an armor could raise it, your wrath is moraly justified and God is on your side, but if it's "hit points" then that's fine that the armor raise them, because the more armor you have the more hits you can take before dying.

So, witch one is it?

Thats some genuinly impressive autism. Who cares lol, a game without armor is shit because since the HP gains are so little you always lose roughly the same %hp after each fight.
I reinstalled this shit to please your aspergers. The game never cares to define HP, it just assumes you know that HP is the shit that shouldnt fall to zero. However potions and healing spells restore hp and there is an evasion stat, so its very likely meat points.

I reinstalled the game to be friendly towards someone with mental disabilties, should have known that aspergers also nukes social behaviour. Faggot.
