uhhhh I quit elex years ago near end game. The game had no real dungeons. The open world was trash also with copy pasted mobs everywhere and with occasional rare loot you find but the stat requirements kill the reward in finding it doesn't help you can't really afford to make a hybrid buid. Elex 2 looks more like what elex 1 should of been. A decent combat system and a jetpack that is not a bad gimmick but a actual jetpack. The fun part of elex were the few areas in the game where using the jetpack helped.

Also its sci fi setting is wasted its really just gothic 2 with guns. So if you want to kill hundreds of dinos and mutants again with slightly better combat system in a unrewarding open world gothic 2 get elex 2. If you want to see enemies with different attack patterns, customize your gear, explore actual dungeons get eden ring

Best case scenario, ELEX 2 will be the typical post-Gothic 2 PB game: a somewhat charming experience with few redeeming qualities allowing people to overlook what a fucking mess it will be in other areas.
ELEX had their worst combat system since Gothic 3 (not an easy feat, coming from Risen 2 and 3) and I have yet to see anything that can convince me that ELEX 2 will be an improvement.

Hell, it looks even worse in some ways, especially the FUCKING AWFUL de-centered third person camera, which is a cardinal sin so bad the developers who pushed for it should spend some jail time for.

If previous Miyazaki and PB games are any indication they will both be games that don't treat you like a retard
and won't inject modern politics into their universes which is all to rare these days.

Risen 2's combat was possibly one of, if not the worst combat I've ever seen in a ARPG. The combat in Elex was bad, but at least it didn't feel like an afterthought like the one from Risen 2.
