Codex 2014 Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy
It comes as no surprise to me that Yahtzee would have something to say about Duke Nukem Forever. He released two chapters of a Duke3D TC called Age of Evil.

They were...not what you'd expect. More emphasis on story than action. Not top-of-the-line design, but there were some really good ideas in there...which have all been copied, stolen, nicked and used elsewhere.

Actually you know when the dead animal is bloated it's really hard to try and pop it, David Lynch also had this problem.

If they manage to take over the code, and simply release it "this year" or at latest 2010, it'll sell.
But they seriously shouldn't wait much longer with this thing....

This is Duke Nukem Forever.

It will always sell even if it's released in 2053.

Depends if development is actually continued or not.

As they said, you could keep developing it "forever", and always update the engine every time a new one is released, it'll always be high tech, always cool.

But, what good is a game if you never release it?
And once released, will they still continue overhauling the graphics engine? Unlikely.

Never really saw the attraction of Duke Nukem

I never did, either. I played it back in the day, and it seemed like an above-average shooter, but it certainly wasn't so good as to leave me yearning for a sequel.

It was fucking amazing when I was a kid. The level design was original, and still is. I played it recently on my school laptop out of boredom, just to experience the map design again; otherwise going around shooting stuff is (and little else) boring as feck.
