I'm not familiar with the first game, so I have nothing to inform my descision.

Have you heard of Baldur's Gate 3? I heard from our local experts that the romance is excellent. Plenty of male back to back action (and front to front). Would be right up your alley. And chances are, you didn't play the preceding games in that series either.

You are an armchair critic who has not the faintest idea of what goes into making a video game and it shows from every comment you posted in this thread. And I have in fact skimmed the thread, nice try. You and Bloom hyperfocused on bawwing about why are dere blapipo??? The only slightly disappointing thing is the fact that 10 vocations are it. That's it. And the warrior/fighter classes (my favorite, mystic spearhand looks cool too as does the illusionist) look incredible, and there seem to be so many skills, and I am excited for the enemy variety, the dungeons, and secrets, and everything. You are as bad as the faggots who were whining about Sekiro before it released, doomposting endlessly, and of course when the game came out it was perfect. We have seen almost none of the game and you haven't even played it, and yet you are so sure of yourself that it sucks because of the slightest notion. It's obnoxious and false. I never played the first game but all the previews are like "basically just a bunch of systems with emergent gameplay" and that has me intrigued. I like that emergent gameplay shit.

I'd describe Dragon's Dogma as Oblivion/Skyrim, but fun, but also unfinished. Very unfinished. At times it feels more like a proof-of-concept than a game and there is a point in the story where it's very clear that they run out of money and had to wrap it up. Still, even in its unfinished state it's a very fun game where physics play a much bigger role in various interactions and combat than the vast majority of action RPGs. Reminds me a bit of Dark Messiah, but in third person. If you haven't played the first one, it's $5 at the moment on Steam and it's not very long so you can finish it by the time 2 comes out and you'll have a better idea of whether or not you'd be interested in it, as it will just be more of the same, but more polished and finished, hopefully.
