It's amazing how everything looks unnatural in this game. Just look at everything this screenshot depicts:

QwzdmHW.png

Everyone in this screenshots looks like a weirdo, not because of horns or other fantasy elements, but simply due to their poses, a mix of "holy shit, I am fucked in this job interview" ladies on the right, through "i don't know what to do with my body" dude, to pose of the lady on the left who has complete insecure teenage girl vibe.

Compare to a completely natural poses of i.e.:
Both women on the stool are "mansplaining", while the male Rook looks completely feminine, striking a defensive pose. Tells you a lot about the circle of friends the writers are within.

Ahh, you mean the homo-perspective!
I couldn't last the first minute. The guy starts off by saying he's a progressive because he's trans, ADHD, and queer - this isn't what a progressive is, progressiveness isn't about the sexual identity or mental well being of an individual nor is it about social freakazoids destroying gender norms in order to advance an ideology that's focused on mutilating ones privates - on the contrary, traditional progressiveness isn't about ruining or destroying society; it's predicated on the ideal of reigning in monopolies that undermine the free market, for example the robber barons of the American 1900s which had a stranglehold on congress, commerce, and basic living standards; it's about regulating companies, corporations, politicians, from engaging in corruption that undermines the public good; it's about advancing the civil rights movement so colored people can compete with their fellows without fear of getting lynched (back in the early 1900s black people would get kidnapped and hanged). No matter what its focus is, there's one theme that is consistent throughout: improving the well-being of society through the functions of government - read: not endorsing harmful ideologies that seek to erode the public good, nor celebrating mental illness that seeks to destabilize society.

I feel a lot of young people these days don't know a lick of the political ideologies they're attempting to represent - I mean for god's sake there are unironic homosexual commies today that would have been put to death by the actual commies for being homosexuals. They just spout on endlessly whilst lowering the level of public discourse for everyone involved; you're not bringing perspective to the discussion, you're really not, you're just muddling the conversation, confusing the discourse, and making everyone retarded. If anyone here wants to know what an actual progressive is, just read up on one of the greatest Republican presidents to ever grace America: Theodore Roosevelt - one of my greats. Teddy championed the mantra of how good, sensible regulation, in moderation, can not only improve society and the free market but advance the public good.

I bring you the good stuff. I recorded all sequences from the Qunari non-binary companion, Taash. Spoilers are a given (unless you don't care about her story).

I would like to gift Patrick Weekes a rope. Dragon Age's setting wasnt even anything special or good to begin with but I never could have imagined a mentally ill bastard would fuck it up this much.

Crazy thing about this for me, is how much of a free pass the gameplay is getting. The troon stuff is almost acting as a shield for devs to be able to get away with lazy gameplay implementation.

I'm glad Rieser highlighted this in his post, because seeing games get anywhere near a perfect score with shit/mid gameplay is a travesty, and has been the norm for far too long.

It is pretty obvious why gameplay is getting a free pass. I used to be a Dragon Age fan with a little bit of hope until this year, but started noticing signs when marketing for this game started more than 2 years ago. Even back then there was a lot of attention given to developers "genders" and other similar bullshit. But when the real marketing campaign started this summer, they basically made this stuff the focus of marketing to hide how bad the game actually is and it worked out perfectly. I couldnt discuss anything related to gameplay or the narrative(which is the only thing series had it going for itself) with so called fans of the series without being labeled all kinds of things. I got temporary bans multiple times on reddit even when I didnt bring up any of the tranny stuff.

Also marketing firms EA hired are very good at their jobs and worked really hard past 4 months, they were everywhere and instantly turned every negative comment they saw into a discussion about sexism and politics even when it didnt make sense. Now they have the power to deflect any sort of crticism just by saying "hate tourists and right wingers".

This kind of writing, consistently, must be the result of the worst kind of circlejerk. And 90's industry wasn't welcoming and diverse enough lol

You can tell mentally healthy cis people were not allowed on the team.

Apparently, the she-hulk was written by Trick Weekes, Mordin's writer.
I assume there's just something wrong with water in Clapistan and it progressively makes all writers gayer and lamer.

To be fair, there was always something iffy about Mordin's whole story. "Genophage bad, letting unkillable, mass breeding savages overtake the galaxy by sheer numbers good" is a good storyline only if you're a redditor. Still, at least Mordin was funny, charming and entertaining. Now everything sucks.

Remember the cope about that first trailer being a mistake by an outside marketing team?
I'd much rather believe the last trailer was made by an outside team, it really tries to paint the game as something it isn't. EA knows they have a turd on their hands. Maybe we'll see some course correction if the game sells badly (I still think it will sell mediumly well, we'll see tomorrow).

Codex 2016 - The Age of Grimoire Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy Codex Year of the Donut Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
I asked for a review copy for my site (for the lulz). I never got a response. But seeing how the game turned out, that was a blessing in disguise. Everything in it seems to be pure suffering with zero redeeming features.

Is the "male" a thin, malnourished dwarf, who had to shave his beard due to loosing his honor, or something?

I wonder when the status quo will realize how many questionable morals and values are being shown in the 2020s.
Larian might have opened the door and did a little bit more than push some boundries. Same could be said about Owlcat too.

But this? This straight up looks bad. And I'm not talking about the gender shit only. Can't believe a shit show like this won't serve as a wake up call to most.

This has very little to do with Larian I think. DragOn Aids would have been released like this even if Larian was totally out of the equation

Every RPG that comes out in the next few years will have to do something with Larian and BG3. If anything they've shown that there's this kinky side of the market that has yet to be fully explored.
