IT-HE now has a Morrowind section. This is relevant to everyone who knows IT-HE and everyone who does not know IT-HE and doesn't know his System Shock and Ultima 7 snippets.

Go there now.

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
The Adventures of Cat-Dude? What the fuck? And the way it's drawn it looks like a fucking furry site to me.

EDIT:
Actually it's quite interesting, sorry for my prejudice.
But they could have left the cartoons away to seem less furry.

EDIT2:
Heck, some great Ultima fun-stuff there!
"Things your mother never told you about Ultima 6"
The headlines alone are promising enough. Thanks for posting a link to that site, Jasede.

IT-HE is pretty famous for his Deus Ex, System Shock and many, many, MANY Ultima articles, so shut the fuck up. I would have thought more people know his site here, since he's of Hacker's Guide to Sin (Shock) and numerous Ultima guides that used to be quoted three, four years ago on the Codex fame.

I can also recommend the Arx Fatalis and Thief sections, but it's your loss, Bloodeyes.

Exactly! Why do you think Jasede posted the thread in the first place?

I'm pretty sure the Ultima 8 anti-walkthrough is at least ten years old. The site is pretty infamous, at least among Ultima fans.

Dunno. Why does the Codex not have a single Ultima dragon who could tell us?

Thundershadow Dragon here. What was the question again?

I can confirm that the IT-HE site, owned and operated by one Doug "The Eagle" Dragon, has been in business for *at least* ten years. Has actually had the exact same layout and design since then, too. His stuff on U7 is absolutely classic. The U9 stuff looked pretty good, too, but I never really played that one so it's not as significant to me.

I love it, way back 5 years ago I've visited it. Lots of the Ultima article is worth a roofles or two.

Serpent Venom Drug Test
Fellowship casino scam
just to name a view. The best was killing Beren in U8 :)

God dammit. Stop ruining my childhood. I'll beat you to death with an Anne McCaffrey sequel.

What do Ultima Dragons have to do with ruining your childhood? As far as I know they don't have anything to do with furries. It's just the name of their Ultima fanclub.

Then again, that's not to say there aren't furry Dragons, like, for example, Doug the Eagle from IT-HE. They've been called Dragons for, like, the beginning of the internet!

And thank god for it. I like it this way and I wish more websites would utilise a simple, no-nonsense style, like Maddox' blog or IT-HE or the Ultima Dragon's page. Who needs eye-candy when the site is good and fast?

Who maintains the UDIC anywy? It's in a terrible shape, most links seem to be broken.
Actually, I think the UDIC are effectively dead outside of the usenet groups r.g.c.u.* and perhaps the Weyrmount MOO and IRC (although that was pretty lonely even 10 years ago when I was "active").

I think that everyone had their dreams crushed on the jagged rocks of commercialism with the release of Ultima 9. As an example, here's another once-famous Ultima page:
