I won't give them money if they don't show me something good. And by that, I mean something X-Com like. A real strategy and tactics. Not some popamole console "cool" game. Like Brutal Legend.

Kickstarter page says it's going to be turn based.

And by mentioning turn based, the codex goes into a pledging frenzy.

Extreme popamolers are not allowed to criticize or be sarcastic towards people who fall easily for a certain feature or another.

Go back to playing minigames in Alpha Protocol, that's where your level is.

Do Double Fine or any of the people working there have have any background in making decent strategy games?
If so you think they would have mentioned that. Instead, the main face of the project is advertised as being the designer in this great "strategy" game:

Yeah... I'm not convinced.

And who the fuck if this Brian Muir? Everything he designed is shit...

id also love to know why Double Fine deserves my support. Perhaps they should release a workign copy of their first kickstarter before mooching for more money. Meh no name devs are no name devs. Engine is a joke...SKIP SKIP SKIP

That being the case I really don't see the appeal of backing this. Adventure game sure, genre they have no proven track record in? meh.

Meh they certainly are no inXile or Obsidian what makes them think they came come for another game when they have nothing to show, skip for now until they fix the pitch and show some substance.
Meanwhile at Kickstarter:
3,082
Backers

$117,556
pledged of $725,000 goal

28
days to go

IN A FEW HOURS!

By the way, Double Fine have a track record of making good to stellar games. InXile have the track record of making shity games, even if they showed more from Wasteland 2 than Double Fine did from Broken Age.

Ummm which track record?? Iron Brigade? All the projects this Muir dude has worked on suck shit....what makes them think they can create a good turn based game. Even Full COntrol who made JA give me more confidence that they can create a good turn based game.

I was talking about Double Fine's track record. You know... Psychonauts, Stacking, Iron Brigade, Brutal Legend.

No.. just no.
After seeing Double Fine pissing 3 million dollars away, I don't give a flying fuck what Schafer does.

Anyone a backer for the adventure they kickstarted? Have they shown ANY progress? Going by the page the game should of been released october of last year

Someone please enlighten me, why are these guys getting so much money considering their already ongoing kickstarter has shown no progress?

Yes they've shown progress, and the release date was for a 300k game, they ended up with 6 times that budget.

Double Fine/Tim Schafer have a lot of fans, and the game sounds like a cool idea.
