Happy 130th birthday, HPL!

What Cthulhu- or Lovecraft-themed CRPGs have there been that people like?

Well, stretch the genre and theme a bit (okay, a lot), and you have Quest For Glory 4.

Unexplored has The Dark Ritual expansion where you have to stop a cult trying to summon an elder god. It's very different from the base game too.
Occult Chronicles is another very interesting horror-themed roguelike/boardgame hybrid, some of its scenarios are very Lovecraft-inspired.

On the other hand, there are these two, ummmm, critically acclaimed titles.

There are no good HPL games because nerd faggots consistently fail to understand the source material.

Why nerd faggots? Just the faggots

ToME's expansion, Forgotten Cults, is "lovecraftian" and I like the classes and races it comes with. It also has eldritch dimensions in the form of ancient books (which are quite tough btw).

Out of curiosity, what about the text adventures based/inspired by his works? Kadath, Lurking Shadow, Anchorhead.
Shadow of the CometI 've heard good things about.

Its fine for an adventure game from the time, except the control scheme is really, really, shit. Sometimes you can see items, sometimes you can't. oh, and for some reason the mouse basically functions like the arrow keys, rather than a cursor.
