We've ran into a serious problem with Undead Phoenix. The stupid game thinks we don't have our ports open, while both of us can play a normal match without any problems.

any hints?

Have you tried alternating which one of you hosts the match?

The fact that gorefiend is Shuma's brother has somehow eluded me until now. No wonder he's so good at this game. Must be a genetic thing.

Vampire - Ogre game fought out

Vampires were pretty Bloodlusty and the ogres weren't as bone-headed as usual.

That means the second half toastboy had 2 ogres, 3 Snotlings I believe knocked out, maybe a snotling badly hurt. The end result : some snotling casualties, the only badly hurt Blood Diplomat player was a thrall bitten by a vampire, 2-0, and in the final turn I had 5 re-rolls left... Ogres sure seem like a fun team to play. Oh and I got 80k winnings, if the client fucks that up I'm going to rage like no tomorrow, I need my fourth Hypnotic Gaze. GG WP toastboy

Now what's the easiest possible way to upload a replay?

If any reservists (or for that matter anyone) wants to replace root, now would be the time to speak up.

Have either of you tried opening your ports with a different method?

Simple Port Forwarding is good. I'm just grasping at straws here, but I've never had this problem with a specific opponent. It's always been a persistent problem because of something on my or his side.

You haven't mentioned it, so I'll ask the obvious question - have both of you forwarded the ports for Blood Bowl?

If so, and you still have an issue - I suggest the tech forums.

Here is a sample thread about two people who have their ports forwarded properly but still have an issue:

Try bypassing your routers?

Or if one of you has a laptop, go somewhere else and connect to a different network. Sit in library and play Blood Bowl at full volume :D

we still can't connect. we'll try again tomorrow, but I'm not exactly hopeful.
See if either of you can connect with other opponents with you hosting - this will tell you who is at fault. Also try simple portforwarding, it might fix your problem. At worst I will set the match to 0-0 and we will move on but there isn't any rush just yet:

Regarding Dirk and my game, Dirk's machine has died (yes, again) and she is going to download BB again soonish on a new machine at which point some smelly Norse on Dark Elf action will occur.
