Well yes, Doraemon is quite a concept, perhaps the best concept ever defined by a game designer: a magic cat which indeed does spread happiness all around him. But through solid analysis, this concept does seem weak when it's confronted to Spinoza's notion of ethics: just another form of despair. But then he's cute.
