That's just another phrase for "some have the power, others don't."I see, this must be the toxic positivity thing again.

Just a general term for sycophant behavior. The object of the sycophant's positive outlook can do no wrong and you saying otherwise is taken as an affront to them.Sorry I'm behind on my internet lingo, what's toxic positivity?
it's literally life story of hideyoshi. but unlike "famous" yasuke he actually achieved something.Nobody would give a shit if the protagonist was a Japanese peasant who was treated as a joke by most samurai but then through hard work managed to get to the top. That would be considered a cool underdog story.
Why would Chinese be interested in a game set in Japan?I think it will not flop. There already was a game in asian setting with monkey MC, and it sold very well, there is definitely a demand for such games, at least in China.
I don't know much about chinese, but maybe the main appeal for them is that you play as a monkey? Why would Chinese be interested in a game set in Japan?I think it will not flop. America quite literally should be glassed"Assassin's Creed Red" was supposed to have a Japanese assassin named Yamauchi Taka, already introduced in Assassin's Creed Memories in 2014, but then he was discarded because Asians are considered "white" and therefore they don't get DEI funding
I hope you know this isn't an American problem.America quite literally should be glassed"Assassin's Creed Red" was supposed to have a Japanese assassin named Yamauchi Taka, already introduced in Assassin's Creed Memories in 2014, but then he was discarded because Asians are considered "white" and therefore they don't get DEI funding
I will say, you fight him in Nioh 2 (or was it Nioh 1?). And he's treated as a samurai for a fun boss fight. Maybe this is different because he is not the main character and it is sort of a nod in that game. Maybe when white people do it is blows ass cheeks because it's hard not to see some agenda, I dunno. No, its the fact that he's a nigger.Leftists will blame anything and everything but the core issue: the elevation to knighthood of a guy that was a joke and treated as such by actual Samurai.

Yasuke as a character is shit because he's not Japanese. He doesn't belong there.
Show us on the doll where America touched you.America quite literally should be glassed
lolwut. it's just free loot. i literally farmed him because it's shortest and easiest of human bosses.fun boss fight
It would really be the best if they sell off the company. We'll spend a few years without any of their wokeshit franchises and the audiences will find that they don't miss Ubisoft at all.
Lol, I don't care if this is true, it's too funny. And it sounds dumb enough to be true to boot.
This guy's source said the first time they showed the black samurai he was breaking down a grocery store, the point was to demonstrate breakable objects in the new version of the engine
In addition, Shadows allegedly has 7% of the preorder numbers that Valhalla did. Way to go people, the organic boycott is the best boycott.
But the best part is that the "source" says Ubi decided to go with a black main character in the next AssCreed in the context of George Floyd's killing. Apprentely the suits believed they will be responding to current year sentiments among some market segment which they still believe exists.
Most notably regarding Shadows, apparently cutting the black guy out is on the table, but would require a lot of work, because most of Act 1 (which is on rails) involves him as the main character. They are still looking for ways to reduce his presence.
"Play your backlogs" seems to be the new greeting among gamers.
Yeah, it's a "source", and that's all we get to know. The guy has around 280K subscribers, so it seems realistic that he would get tipped off by an actual insider. The whole thing sounds like this guy is getting trolled by his "sources".
I was going to say that too, but KCD reached 6 million copies accross platforms, and it's reasonable to expect KCD2 will improve on that. Given Origins and Odyssey (Valhalla was an outlier) reaching around 10 million copies, a failing AC Shadows could end up in the same ballpark. You guys are giving way too much credit to KCD2. KCD2 is not even a player in this race
First off, the allegation is that they are considering reducing his exposure and toning down his woke tone. The main problem is that a lot of voice lines will have to be re-recorded. Outright erasing him is not considered likely even by the so called source, so let's not get disingenious.because he is what they are trying to sell
