  • Welcome to rpgcodex.net, a site dedicated to discussing computer based role-playing games in a free and open fashion. We're less strict than other forums, but please refer to the rules.

"This message is awaiting moderator approval": All new users must pass through our moderation queue before they will be able to post normally. Until your account has "passed" your posts will only be visible to yourself (and moderators) until they are approved. Give us a week to get around to approving / deleting / ignoring your mundane opinion on crap before hassling us about it. Once you have passed the moderation period (think of it as a test), you will be able to post normally, just like all the other retards.

You can’t have good RPG discussions without free speech, simple as. You’ve got to consider that a lot of RPGs get into sensitive topics like rape, racism, etc., and it could be difficult to discuss these aspects of the games without free speech.

Is the use of the word "n*gger" required in order to discuss computer roleplaying games?
Strange it is that men should admit the validity of the arguments for free speech but object to their being "pushed to an extreme", not seeing that unless the reasons are good for an extreme case, they are not good for any case.

Both; but places like RPG.net masquerade as an RPG discussion website too, so...

So if I must pick; free speech. That is a prerequisite to calling Bethsoft and Bioware games dog shit; which is in turn a prerequisite for having any RPG discussion worth a damn.

Are you telling me that the RPGCodex still doesn't have a formal anti-racism policy and does not vocally stand with Black Lives Matter, Feminism and Reproductive Rights, LGBTQIK+, and allows people to spout off dangerous and misleading misinformation that has been fact-checked and debunked by multiple official sources?!?!

Votes are private. Voting is mandatory. All must vote! Only the fact you voted is recorded. How you voted is not recorded against your username.

You're the one who claims he wants to "defend" free speech on his site, so you tell us.

Your pathetic attempts at being whacky zany without actually engaging in an argument are still not funny. Is your name fucking Richard Kyanka or something?
