Hey All,

As a team of 2, we are building a new TTRPG tool, Archivist, and we are looking for users to join our free beta soon!

We use AI—but only for the boring, repetitive tasks like note-taking and organizing session details—so the creative storytelling stays 100% in your hands.

To address some common concerns:
  • No saved audio
  • No data sales to 3rd parties
  • No training models with your info
Our existing users, ranging from Pro GMs to casual players are already getting a lot of value out of it - less admin work, more focus on the story.

If you are interested, send me an email, or feel free to set up a brief demo/onboarding call with me here.

Thanks so much,
Greg

Is this a straight chatgpt wrapper? At least host your own model with a finetune - feed it (illegally) all D&D material from handbooks, /r/DND, /r/RPG/, rpg.stackexchange, various forums, all D&D novels. And train it to imitate some talking style that's not reminiscent of HAL 9000. At least make some effort. What your product offers in notepad.exe level of functionality.

While right now we are a wrapper (still early stage, and moving to Beta soon), we are achieving a high quality output with prompt engineering (our users agree). We are soon launching campaign configurations that will allow users to customize the tone/voice they would prefer across the board.

Regarding our own model, we are working on one...ethically and legally though. I understand the apprehension with AI and that its not for everyone, but I will say our existing users are finding it to be a helpful tool that is both saving them a lot of time and increasing their group's engagement in their campaign all while providing us with some valuable feedback. If you, or anyone, wants to be a part of that journey, we would love to chat!
