I first heard about it when I was about 19 and I'm 25 now.
We just started working on it when you first heard about it.

So the demo's late. On it's own that wouldn't be a thing, only remember the combat demo? IIRC there were several missed deadlines on that one as well.
Oh noes.

Did you enjoy the demo? If yes, that's what counts. If no, why do you care about the game?

Just quit with the announcements, you're making yourselves look incompetent.
It would if I aspired to become a professional game announcer.

As it happens, I want to be a game developer. Only the quality of the game matters.

Honestly, this could be used against your communication methods as well. If quality's what counts, you could finish the product first and do away with the elusive deadlines.
I don't really care either way tbh, we agree on the "quality first" part, so I'll play your demo (and game hopefully) anyway.

It's been a long time since I played it, but I remember the version I tried still lacked polish. Still, it had potential, and I wouldn't even be reading this forum if I didn't care about the game. I care less and less with everything you say though. Have someone else do PR. You're kind of an asshole. I'm sure you know this.

The goodwill of your fanbase matters a bit too. If they support Iron Tower and its aims as well as just wanting to play the game they are more likely to pay for it.

I really don't see why you are arguing here. Keep making the game, take as long as it needs, but don't make announce things like this until they are actually ready because you know by now that there are always unforseen problems, and you have not kept a deadline yet.

Really soon, guys, really soon. There is only one nasty bug that needs to be sorted out before we're ready to upload. Othewise we've got everything - content, build, installer, everything.

Well, i think they should postpone for some time just to make certain codex codex codex members get even more butthurt at what they imagine as "deadlines".

VD, looking forward to getting the demo.

If I actually purchased a piece of software that worked perfectly out of the box, I might have a heart attack. This means that personally I'd release it bugged and then patch after a week. Think of the children.

Don't worry you can't open it; it's 404 already due to Sugar Sync not liking the increased bandwidth or whatever.
