I've been itching for something like that recently. There's a ton out there and it's not the sort of game you see much of in the first 2 hours so I was hoping for some opinions who've invested more time in them.

Need a better description here as Hades is just a rogue-lite, there are 1000's of games like Hades. What exactly do you like about it?

Here are a couple that you might like: Synthetik 1 (sequel is too early access), Strafe, binding of isaac, FTL, enter the gungeon, noita.. the list can go on and on.

I'm talking about much more similar games, like Curse of the Dead Gods or Ravenswatch, Windblown, Realm of Ink or Dandy Ace, which all have the same sort of gameplay oriented around dodging and melee combat with rooms to clear and major perks that transform your abilities a lot. There's apparently a ninja turtles one as well but it's ported from a mobile game, and one called Sworn that looks promising but isn't out yet.

Synthetik was a good game but I played the crap out of it and it's more ranged oriented, like most of the rest of your list. Noita or FTL isn't even close to the same sort of thing.

Ravenswatch is pretty shit.
Every enemy is a bullet sponge and there's like 2 hours of actual game in there, it feels more like a demo that's trying to waste as much of your time as possible.
