Reason I'm asking: It seems he figured out how to extract portraits from Krome's remakes, and I want to know he did it so I can create avatar galleries for Bard's Tale and Wasteland. They're using some sort of propriety format.

The character portraits in these games are animated. They seem be using a proprietary file format with the extension .kanm (which stands for Krome Animation I presume). Looking at the image filenames and his log messages on the wiki, it seems that DragonZH managed to extract the frames out of the kanm files to create images.

I don't think his UnityEx program has support for these files. I figured it was something he put together on the side. The guy seems to be a fan of blobbers.

I dug into the game assets files with Unity AssetStudio. Found a bunch of files with extension .kanm. You figured that file format out?
