Is it possible getting to a second healing machine playing as a praetor for aurelian? i started with con 5 hoping to get to con 7, but I only found 1 healing machine in the mountain facility. Can I get to the other?

No, unless you betray House Aurelian. I don't even know if you can betray Aurelian and still get the machine; the only 2 ways I know to get the machine are as follows: be a thieves guild member, or follow a path that results in you fleeing Maadoran through the underground tunnels.

As an assassin, if you choose to betray Daria and ask the woman advisor for "ancient secrets" as your reward you can also get it.

Nazir's gem doesn't require you to be following a particular storyline. All characters can go in and talk to them, unless something big changed in the last patch. Just don't expect to walk out unless you have a really high body count or some other way of scaring them.

I tried it with two chars that had 100+ body count (one had 200+), my only option is dexterity/sneak check followed by sneak or critical strike and lockpick in the end. Don't get to talk to them at all.

Just reloaded a Maadoran save before I entered Palace district and now it works after talking to Nasir. I think the problem was that before I clicked on that house (and a servant shut the door at me) without talking to Nasir beforehand which locked me out of that option if I tried to do that quest later.

Not sure if it's a bug, many conversations/options only happen once in AoD and are lost after that.

Do you get access to Levin's canister if you are playing a Daratan Praetor that lets Gaelian get killed, then does whatever "invasion of the slums" thing Serenas wants? I started down that but it was too talker-checky so I reloaded an old save and kept Gaelian alive and became an Aurelian Praetor. Can you eventually become an Aurelian Praetor for Serenas?

Actually is there any path where you can turn Serenas into your personal bro, I wanna kill John Goodman for that kid

Also, is there a nonviolent way to get the Power Armor? I got the quest from the guy in Maadoran who lost his house, but it ends in violence and my puny loremaster cannot into combat.

You can pretend to be a zealot and talk them into giving you the armor. Justt meet with the guy who sends you to the mercenaries and you will get the option. but dont ask me how high the stat checks were

You can also pick up some of the sludge out of the tanks in the medical facility and insert it into the tomb before awakening him. I reckon that will weaken him as well.

Yes. You actually have to bribe them, and you can also learn about the guard in the tower who owes money.

Are you talking about the key on the guard you kill at the outpost if you slaughter everyone? If so, it definitely opens the chest, I did it yesterday. The chest doesn't "open" so much as clicking in it uses the key and puts a power tube in your inventory.

You won't be able to do anything now, no. But it is a valuable item with many different uses.

That said, I don't know if it will be there when you return. You clicked the "return and report to dellar" button when you left, so now when you go to the outpost there will be Daratan soldiers there. I don't know if the chest is still there or if the tube is still in it.

A zero lore character doesn't have much use for it, though, if you plan to stay that way.

Yep, but after that you can unlock with the iron key.

You can enter the mine afterwards with high Daratan reputation and the Preator background.

Man game has very weird pseudo-Act structure, there is world map but it doesn't want me to leave Maadoran for previous city cause "stuff happens".

btw I still carry a dagger in backpack to be sure but is it still required for Critical Strike checks in dialogue?

Without Mind Shield his telepathic attack is gonna hurt but you have a decent chance to dodge his first melee one if you maxed out the skill (I even got lucky here and counter-attacked him).

Use Eagle Eye Neurostimulant next if you have it (I think I received mine from Carrinas after killing Antidas but not sure) to boost your AP and hit chance.

Hit his arms to fuck up his aim.

Then proceed to grind him down with fast attacks.

The build is a standard retard killing machine (I made it mostly to test how many bodies I can pile up in a single playthrough, had great fun with it). Hammer skill is just for sinergy purposes, it boosted my attack rating by around 20 which greatly helped against Agatoth as he's a slippery fucker. Alternatively you could put points in lore instead and use Power Armor.

I'm pretty sure high daratan rep is enough to get in. I DID get the initial teron map quest from Antidas, but I never got the Liegeman (Daratan) title, so I'm almost certain that I'm not part of house daratan. (from merchant guild playthrough)

Hah, I never thought about boosting the other weapon skills to get the +hit on the main skill. Is it more point-efficient to buy at the first level of the off-skill vs. like level 10 of the main skill?

Yeah, if you're satisfied with your current weapon passive ability level and just want higher hit chance it is more cost efficient up to a certain point. Or in my case if you already maxed out your main weapon but still want higher hit chance.

You just have to find the nearest sinergy weapon skill, hammers and axes, swords and daggers etc.
