Incline Which RPG Should I Play Next #5

    1. Kenshi (Not Completable?) :3/5: Most games suffer from having way too much direction. Kenshi has the opposite problem: not enough direction. Once you're established and equipped, no longer in danger of starving - then what? Wander aimlessly in an ugly, dead world and get into pointless...

    Designing the perfect RPG companion

Thread title. What are the qualities and attributes you are looking for in a companion? Loyalty? Strength? Try to design your perfect companion. Or perhaps companions should be ditched entirely in favor of a party designed from the ground up by the player?

How should Death and Resurrection be handled in RPGs?

Greetings. Let's talk about dying and resurrection in RPGs. How would you handle it? Should resurrection even be possible? Would the soul of a deceased companion refuse to reincarnate? From the perspective of D&D cosmology if your companion was of a good alignment he would more than likely end...

We need more RPGs like Baba Is You

The title is a clickbait, but I think there is something in Baba Is You [BIY] that game designers could use to make RPGs more interesting than they usually are. Here is a very short video on BIY (yes, I consider 15 minutes video to be a short one): Why do I think there is something that can...
